PGDIBF is a unit and credit based course. The PGD Course consists of 12 units (modules). An online exam (a mixture of MCQ and Case-Based Exams) is conducted after completing 20 credits of the training. The exam lasts for two-three hours.

All exam scripts are initially assessed by ABP following the standard policy and procedure of Edupro, UK. The assessment decisions are externally verified by Edupro, UK.

Successful students will be awarded a PassMerit or Distinction in each unit.

As an estimate of what quality of work you’re looking for, take a look at the grading guidelines below:

Distinction: Clearly demonstrates a sophisticated understanding of the topic, with a high degree of competence and has excellent usage of relevant literature, theory and methodology. For ease of understanding you need to get at least 80% marks in the assessment.

Merit: Has a critical understanding of the topic, a significant degree of competence and has appropriate usage of the relevant materials. For ease of understanding you need to get at least 65% marks in the assessment.

Pass: Evidence of some critical understanding of the topic, can use structured argument, and has a degree of competence when using relevant materials. For ease of understanding you need to get at least 50% marks in the assessment.

Yes you can. If you are unable to get at least 50% marks or you could not attend any of the final exams, you can resit for the exam. Please note, 1st retake is free. For further retake it will cost £20 per exam and that will also delay the certification as well.

Once you finish all units successfully, it will take at least six weeks (after completing External Quality Assurance) to receive the certificate from our head office. The student receives the certificate in physical copy from our regional office.
